  • Visitor ID Cookie (_cro_visitor_id): Stores an anonymous identifier to track visitors across sessions. Expires after 365 days.
  • Assignment Cookies (_cro_assignment_*): Stores which test variant a visitor is assigned to. Expires after 365 days.

These cookies are essential for the app's functionality and ensure visitors see a consistent experience during A/B tests. They do not contain personally identifiable information and are used solely for test assignment and analytics purposes.

3. Data Storage and Retention

All data collected by Abe CRO is stored securely and is associated with your Shopify store. Data retention policies:

  • Test data is retained while tests are active or completed
  • All data is automatically deleted when the app is uninstalled from your store
  • You can delete individual tests at any time, which removes all associated data
  • Aggregated metrics are retained for historical analysis but can be deleted upon request

Data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption and access controls.

4. Data Sharing

Abe CRO does not share your data with third parties. All data is:

  • Stored securely on our servers
  • Only accessible to you through the app's admin interface
  • Used solely for providing A/B testing functionality
